Plans have been filed with the city and interior demo will begin next week. Over the years the exterior of the building had been well maintained by the former owners. The interior however, was another story.
Everything will be removed and the exterior walls will be taken to studs. Everything will be reconfigured and rebuilt. Everything except for the century old hardwood flooring in the oldest half of the building. We have every intention to restore the original hardwoods if at all possible.
Minor upgrades and repairs to the exterior will freshen up the facade and southern exposure towards Gene Field.
